"We wrote the EP back in October of 2014. We pushed ourselves to try and get this thing to come to life for months. We met a ton of friends and had our differences along the way, but it’s been such an incredible experience opening ourselves up with the music we’ve written. Thank you.
When Ryan and I were talking about ideas for the EP and what we wanted for it lyrically, we knew it would do best conceptually. There are times in life when it feels like we’re struggling just to get by. We let excuses cripple us and make us weak. We saw a man corrupted by his own arrogance, facing the physical endeavors of being lost to a wilderness, and the emotional disaster of feeling like a failure. He is lost and cannot find his way home, and he doesn’t know how to ask forgiveness, or forgive himself. He accepts his consequence, and in the end, Death is still waiting to visit him face to face. He dies with his forgiveness, but he is forgotten." - Sentry
